First Play Tennis

First Play Tennis is designed to introduce beginner level players to the fundamentals of tennis, including stroke technique, serving, court awareness and rallying. 

Activities are delivered in a low pressure, yet energetic environment, ensuring optimal learning, all the while maintaining the enjoyment factor of being on the tennis court. These tennis classes are open to the age of 5 years old through to adult.

What playing level is required to participate in First Play Tennis?
First Play Tennis is a beginner level class, little or no previous experience is required to participate. If the participant has never played tennis before, or wants to hone their basic fundamental tennis skills, then First Play Tennis is the place!

USTA QuickStart Tennis Model

Our First Play Tennis Programs follow the USTA QuickStart Tennis model. This program introduces children to tennis using equipment and courts designed specifically for their ability and age. As your child grows, so does the court and racquet size. For more informtion, please click on the video below.

Ability: Beginner - Low Intermediate
Duration: Weekly classes & week long summer camps
Times: Typically 1 hour sessions, summer camps can run up to 3 hours per day
Cost: Starting as low as $100
Other: Each player will receive a certificate. Players must provide their own rackets.
