Tennis Squirts®USSI's Tennis Squirts is a fun-filled learning adventure that introduces children aged 3 to 5 to the world of tennis. Tennis Squirts is a great way to learn the fundamental skills and tennis strokes in a low pressured, fun environment. Following guidelines set out by the US Tennis Association (USTA), children will quickly develop their tennis skills, using the highly appraised '10 and Under Tennis' model. This USSI program offers a variety of games and activities to maximize participation, increase success, and promote learning, all while having fun!
QuickStart Tennis Children are introduced to many sports using equipment and fields designed specifically for them. For example; baseball is first learnt by playing t-ball; youth basketball uses smaller sized balls and lowered backboards and soccer is played on smaller fields with smaller goals.
All USSI programs follow this same logic. Similar to other youth sports, children on USSI Tennis programs use equipment and courts appropriately sized for their age and ability, making it a fast and easy way to develop an individual’s skills, all whilst having fun! |
